Global Food

We operate out of Bakarganj in the Laheriasarai area of Darbhanga. Global Food is just a local business handling food items in a very busy part of town. Bakarganj is known for its narrow streets and constant activity. Our building is an older structure that has seen better days, but it serves its purpose for storing and moving food products. The air in Darbhanga can be quite thick and hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure things stay cool inside. It’s a noisy neighborhood with people shouting and horns honking all day long. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we manage the orders and talk to suppliers. The floor is made of old stone and the ceiling is quite high. We have lived and worked in Laheriasarai for a long time, so we are used to the chaos of the market. Every morning starts with checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be moved out. It’s hard work and it gets messy sometimes, but that’s just how the food business is in a place like this. We are just one of many small businesses in the Bakarganj area trying to keep things moving. There is nothing fancy about what we do at Global Food, just the daily effort of getting food to where it needs to go. We are just part of the local scene here in Darbhanga.
