Durable Garments Private Limited

Durable Garments is what we call our business here in Darbhanga. We are located in the Gehuami Tola area, which is part of the Bahadurpur block. My husband Manoj Kumar and I handle the daily stuff. It is a private limited company but really it feels more like a local workshop. The address is a bit long because of how the villages are laid out in Bihar. You have to find Panch-Simra Nehal Pur and then look for Gehuami. It's not a busy city street, just a regular place in the 847121 pin code area. We deal with garments mostly. There is always a lot of sewing and packing going on here. We decided on the name Durable because we wanted things to last. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our time is spent looking at samples or checking the stitching. It's a quiet life in this part of Darbhanga. People know us as the garment place near Manoj’s house. We have been doing this for a while now. The work is steady and it keeps the family occupied. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the deadlines get close. But being in our own village makes it easier to manage. We just do our thing and try to get the clothes out to where they need to go. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little business here in the Bahadurpur block.
