Art Place

Art Place is our little shop located at Sakmapul on Mirzapur Road. We are also right on Station Road, so it’s a very busy corner near the Mazar Sharif. You can’t really miss us if you are heading towards the station. The area is always full of life, with people traveling and the sounds of the city all around. Our shop is filled with all kinds of art supplies and finished pieces. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible onto the shelves. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but that’s part of the charm for us. We aren't trying to be a high-end gallery. We just want to be a place where local people can find what they need for their own creative projects. We get all sorts of customers, from students to older folks who have been painting for years. There’s no pressure when you walk in. We might be busy organizing stock or cleaning the glass, but we always have time for a quick word. The Mazar Sharif nearby brings a lot of peace to the area despite the traffic. We like the balance of the busy street and the creative work we do inside. It’s just a normal shop run by people who appreciate a bit of color in their lives and enjoy the neighborhood vibe. It is a good place to work.
