J.K Lakshmi Cement Ltd has a spot here in Bacheli. We are located over at 547 F.O.H Colony. It’s a bit of a distance out here in Dantewada, but we’ve been part of this community for a good while. Chain Singh’s place is well known around these parts. We don’t have any big glass buildings or anything like that. It’s just a practical setup where we manage the local cement needs. Dealing with the dusty roads and the local climate is just part of our daily life. People stop by to ask about bags of cement or just to chat about ongoing builds in the area. We keep things simple because that's what works. My desk is usually covered in receipts and local delivery notes. It isn't a high-pressure office, just steady work. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait to send emails, but we manage. Being in Chhattisgarh means we see a lot of different people coming through. We just try to stay on top of the orders and make sure the supplies are moving. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just us doing the job day in and day out in the colony. Most people find us by word of mouth anyway. We’ve got a fan in the corner that hums too loud, but it keeps us cool.
