Vivekananda Kendra Borl Hospital

Our hospital is part of the BORL Residential Complex in the Bina-Etawa area. Because we are situated within a housing complex for the refinery, we have a very specific set of people we look after. Most of our patients are the employees and their families who live right here. It’s a bit of a different vibe than a city hospital because everyone kind of knows each other. You see the same faces at the grocers and then in our waiting room. The complex is a bit out of the way, so we have to be prepared for most things. We have a decent setup with various departments to handle the everyday health issues that come up in a community like this. The staff also mostly lives within the complex, so they are really part of the neighborhood. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when there is an emergency. We don't have a big marketing budget or a need to attract people from far away; we are just here to serve the people in the residential area. The facility is well-kept and we try to keep the atmosphere calm. It feels more like a small-town clinic but with the equipment of a larger hospital. We just do our jobs and try to keep everyone in the complex healthy and on their feet.
