Tishi Auto Lamps

Tishi Auto Lamps is on the first floor of a building on Subhash Road, at No-64/A. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you get here, you’ll see we’ve got lamps and bulbs for almost anything that moves. The room is pretty much filled with boxes from floor to ceiling. Subhash Road is always packed with people, so it can be a real headache just to get into the building some days. We spend a lot of our time testing bulbs to make sure they actually work before they go out. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but it’s necessary. The light in here is always a bit strange because of all the different samples we have plugged in at once. We talk to a lot of delivery drivers and shopkeepers who need to restock their own shelves. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic from the window when things slow down for a minute. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where we manage our inventory. We don't really have a big sign out front, so people usually find us by word of mouth or by looking for the number on the door. It’s a simple business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We just focus on keeping the stock levels up and helping whoever walks in.
