Our clinic is located in Village Falandi, right on Umarkui Road. We are on the first floor of a building at Survey No. 96/1. This part of Dadra Nagar Haveli is a bit quieter than the big cities, but we stay busy with the local people coming in for their regular checkups. Being a diagnostic center and polyclinic means we see a wide range of health issues every single day. People come in for blood tests, X-rays, or to see one of the visiting doctors who come on certain days. The space is simple and utilitarian. We have the lab equipment in one area and a few consultation rooms in another. It’s not fancy, just clean and functional for medical work. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the samples are handled and labeled right. Sometimes the power goes out unexpectedly, so we have to switch over to the generator to keep the machines running. Everyone in the village knows where we are located. We don't put up big billboards or ads. Word of mouth usually brings most people in. The staff all lives nearby, so we know each other and the patients quite well. It makes for a friendly atmosphere even when we are dealing with people who aren't feeling their best. We try to be helpful and explain the test results in plain language. It’s a steady, local job. We just open the windows and work.
