Rahul’s Rent A Car is located right on the Main Road in Daang. If you can find the New India Bakery in Khariwad, you’ve basically found us because we’re right next door to them. The smell of fresh bread is actually one of the best things about working here every day. We handle a lot of car rentals for people around here and we also serve the Daman area quite a bit. It’s a straightforward business, really. We have a few different cars parked out back and we spend a lot of our time making sure they are clean and running right for the next person who needs them. Some days are quieter than others, but when the tourist season kicks in, the phone doesn't stop ringing. We don't have a big fancy waiting room or a website that does everything for you. It’s more of a walk-in or call-us kind of place. We’ve lived in this part of Daang for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the roads that get flooded when it rains too hard. People usually just come by the shop after they grab something from the bakery. We try to keep things simple and honest with the prices. It’s just a local business trying to stay busy and help people get from one place to another without a lot of fuss. We usually keep some cold water in the fridge if it gets too hot while you're waiting.
