Our unit is at the Golden Industrial Estate in Somnath, Daman. It is an industrial area, so it is not exactly pretty to look at, but it is where the real work gets done every day. Ms Marvel Foods is a small setup. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We have our machinery, our supplies, and a small group of workers who have been with us for a while now. Daman is a good place for a business like ours because things move quickly. We spend most of our time on the factory floor, making sure the production line stays moving. It is not glamorous at all. There is a lot of dust and noise, and we usually end the day feeling pretty tired. We don't go in for fancy mission statements or any of that corporate talk you see on the internet. We just focus on the food we are making. If it is not good, we simply don’t send it out to anyone. It is that simple for us. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we are all there with tools trying to get it back up. We are a local business, through and through. We know the other folks in the industrial estate, and we help each other out with spare parts or advice. We just keep our heads down and keep the work going. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
