East Coast Polytex

We are over at Street No. 168/12, right inside the Dabhel Indian Cooporative Society Limited. It’s a busy spot. Most days we just keep our heads down and get through the work. People sometimes have trouble finding us because the streets here all start to look the same after a while, but once you see the sign for the society, you're pretty close. East Coast Polytex has been operating out of this unit for a bit now. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the desk in the front office squeaks every time someone sits down. We keep the doors open when it's hot out to get a bit of a breeze through the place. It's mostly just the sounds of the machines and folks talking about their weekend plans. If you’re coming by, just look for the gate. The neighbors are usually around if you get lost and need to ask for directions. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood here. It’s a lot of hard work, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and everyone gets a bit grumpy, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a group of people working at 168/12 Dabhel. It’s a practical setup and it works for us. We’ve been here through the rainy seasons and the heat, and the building holds up well enough for what we need.
