Alpha Plastomers Pvt. Ltd. is located over at Plot No. 374 in the Alpha Industrial Park. This is in the Atiawad area of Dabhel. The park is usually humming with activity from all the different units nearby. We focus on our plastic work here and the machines are running most of the time. It gets pretty loud inside the shed so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the grinders. The smell of warm plastic is something you just get used to after the first week. We have a small area for the staff to keep their things and a basic office for handling the bills and the transport guys. The roads around Dabhel can get quite dusty especially when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of time checking what comes off the line because nobody wants to redo a whole batch. Our workers are local guys who know the commute well. We aren’t a huge corporation with layers of management. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the production stays on track and the electricity bill is paid. When things break down we fix them ourselves if we can. We like to keep things simple and direct. If you walk into our plot you will see sacks of raw material and crates of finished parts waiting to go out. It’s just a normal factory life for all of us here.
