Alkem Laboratories Ltd.

This Alkem Laboratories Ltd. site is located at Plot No 167/2 on Mahatma Gandhi road in Udyog Nagar. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there are always trucks idling in the street and people moving heavy crates. Our building is a no-nonsense structure that has been part of the landscape here for quite a while. We don't have any flashy signs or glass windows. It’s mostly just concrete and steel, which is exactly what we need for the pharmaceutical work we do. Inside, it’s all about the production lines and the storage areas. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork, but it’s usually quite crowded with ledgers and files. The people working here are a solid bunch. We don't go in for any corporate jargon or mission statements. We just focus on the schedule and making sure everything is done by the end of the shift. The atmosphere is very practical. We eat our lunch in the small canteen area and talk about regular things like cricket or the weather. It’s a honest workplace where everyone knows what they have to do. We don't try to impress visitors with a lobby; we just show them the work being done. Being in Udyog Nagar means we are part of a big network of businesses, and we like that. We just stay at Plot 167/2 and keep our heads down, working through the daily tasks.
