Acme Engineers

Our place is at number 20 in the Bharat Industrial Estate over in Bhimpore. It’s a typical industrial spot with lots of other businesses around us doing similar things. We’re Acme Engineers, and we’ve been in this unit for quite a few years. The space is mostly filled with tools, workbenches, and various metal parts waiting to be finished. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend our days mostly on our feet, dealing with whatever job came in that morning. Some days it’s repairs, other days it’s making something from scratch based on a rough sketch a customer brought in. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we just do the work and let that be it. The estate can be quite a busy place with trucks coming through and neighbors working on their own projects. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but we’re used to it by now. We take our time to make sure things are done properly, even if that means staying a bit later than planned. It’s just us here, trying to keep the machines running and the customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it. We close up when the job is done and come back to do it again the next day.
