Gsk World Travels

Up here in the Dalhousie Hills, things move a bit slower. Our place, Gsk World Travels, is right in the Mail Bazar area of Bani Ket. If you know the tehsil well, you've probably walked past our door a dozen times. We've got a lot of maps pinned to the walls and some old chairs for people to sit while they wait. It can get cold in the winter, so we usually have some tea going. People come in to ask about buses or long trips down to the plains. We aren't a big city office with glass walls. It's more of a place where you talk face to face. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking schedules because the mountain roads can be unpredictable. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just use notebooks. We've lived in Dalhousie all our lives, so we know the shortcuts and which drivers are reliable. It's a small shop but we keep it tidy enough. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when the market opens up. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. People just drop by after they finish their shopping in the bazaar. We handle a lot of local stuff and some longer tours if someone asks. It is just a regular business run by people who live right here in the hills. We do what we can to help people travel safely.
