Deepa Comforts is where we spend most of our time these days, right there on MG Road in Kodialbail. It's a busy part of Mangalore, especially when the rain starts coming down hard and the traffic backs up. We are tucked away on the first floor at B-17. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs to get to work. It’s a typical office setup for a dairy and food business, with desks cluttered with paperwork and the sound of phones ringing in the background. Most people know this area because of the shops nearby. We’ve been here for a while now, dealing with all the little things that come with running a private limited company. The address is a bit of a mouthful if you’re trying to write it down on a small envelope, what with all the numbers like 4-8-738/16. Dakshina Kannada has its own pace, and we just try to keep up with the daily orders and the logistics of moving food products around. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but the building stays relatively cool. If you happen to be walking down MG Road near the Deepa Comforts building, that's where you'll find us. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our spot on the first floor where the work gets done every day. It’s not a glamorous place, but it works for what we need to do.
