Udayarashmi Charitable Foundation

Our place is 4-214, known as Badhikodi House. It sits right on Kanyana Road in Badhikodi, which is part of Kanyana Village. Udayarashmi Charitable Foundation has been operating from here for a good while. It’s a quiet village life for the most part. The house is an old one, and it has a lot of character. We use the main rooms for our work. It’s not like those offices you see in the big cities. We don't have cubicles or fancy computers. We just have what we need to get by. Being in Kanyana Village means we see the seasons change right outside our door. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back while we talk. That’s just life in Kanyana Village. We’ve learned to be patient with things like that. The road can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we don't mind much. Everyone around here knows Badhikodi House. It’s a landmark in its own small way. We have a few people who help out regularly. We sit together and talk about what needs to be done in the village. It’s a very local thing. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just talk to people. Sometimes we sit out front when the sun isn't too hot. It’s a peaceful spot to work from. We’ve been part of this village for years, and the foundation is just our way of staying involved with everything that happens here.
