Sri Kateel Incense Works

Our workshop is in Hosabettu at 2, 41/1, Srinivasa. We have been making incense here for a long time. Sri Kateel Incense Works is a small operation, and we do a lot of the work with our own hands. The smell of the incense is always in the air, even when we aren't working. We spend our days mixing ingredients and rolling the sticks. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. We have to watch the weather closely because if it gets too damp, the incense won't dry properly. That can be a real problem for us. We don't have a big factory or any complicated machines. It is just a simple space where we can focus on what we are doing. The neighbors are used to us being here and they don't seem to mind the smells. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. We just sell our incense to local shops and whoever comes by the workshop. It is a modest business and we aren't trying to get rich. We just want to keep the tradition going and make enough money to take care of our own. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just take things one day at a time and do our best.
