Our office is over in the Bunder area of Mangalore, right on Azizuddin Road. If you know the Behar Complex, we are on the first floor there. Being in the seafood export business means we deal with a lot of fish and the ocean. It’s a busy part of town because of the port and all the trade going on near the water. We spend our time coordinating the catch and making sure it gets sent out where it needs to go. It’s not always easy because the weather can be a real pain and the market prices change every single day. We are a local bunch and we’ve been around the docks for quite some time now. You’ll usually find us on the phone or checking the logs in the office. It gets a bit loud outside with the trucks and the market noise, but that’s just how it is in Bunder. We don’t have any fancy brochures or big marketing teams. We just focus on the marine exports and getting the containers ready for shipping. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port, and we have to stay late to fix things. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. The salt air is always around here. We just try to keep the exports moving and the fishermen happy when they bring in the load. That’s our daily life at the complex. We enjoy being by the sea and doing our work.
