Polali Clinic

Polali Clinic is our little medical spot in the Polali area of Bantwal. We are officially in Mangalore, 574211. It is a quiet place compared to the big city centers. People around here know where we are. We don't need a lot of space to do what we do. The clinic has a front door that squeaks a little when you open it. Inside, it smells like antiseptic and maybe a bit of tea from the back room. We have a few chairs for people to wait in. Mostly, it's locals who come by. They know the shortcuts through the village to get here. Bantwal is a place where everyone knows everyone else. We stay here because this is where we are needed. The walls have some framed photos of the local area from years ago. It’s not a modern facility with glass walls. It’s a brick-and-mortar building that has seen many seasons. Sometimes the rain is so loud on the roof we have to raise our voices. But that’s just life in Mangalore. We don't use any fancy systems. We write things down in books and talk to people face to face. It’s a slow pace, but it works for us and the people who live in Polali. We've been here for years, just doing the same things every day and keeping the doors open for whoever needs us. There is nothing complicated about how we run things.
