One Heart Charitable Foundation

One Heart Charitable Foundation is tucked away in Mandwi Bazar. We are located at the Otr. Complex right near the Sacred Heart School. Fr. Francis Kottekarotte stays busy with the day-to-day running of things here. It is a bit of a crowded spot, especially when the school lets out and the market is in full swing. Our office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and a lot of boxes filled with supplies. We spend most of our time sorting through donations or chatting with people from the neighborhood who drop by to ask for help. It gets pretty loud during the day, but we don't mind the noise. Some days are more organized than others. We might be out delivering items or just sitting here trying to get the paperwork straight. It is a simple setup and we don't have a big team of people. Mostly, it's just us doing what we can with what is available at the moment. We’ve seen a lot of families come through these doors over the years. Not everything runs perfectly every single time, and we've had our fair share of mix-ups with deliveries. But the people around the bazaar know us and they know where to find us if something comes up. We just keep the door open and try to be useful to the folks around the Otr. Complex. It is a bit messy, but it’s our way of working.
