Our office is tucked away in Singapore City on K S Rao Road. If you know where the Gold Palace is, we are basically right across from it. It’s a busy spot in Mangalore, and there is always plenty of traffic outside our door. We spend our days helping people plan out their pilgrimage trips. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and going over schedules and flight times. The office isn't very large, so it can feel a bit crowded when a family comes in together to talk about their plans. We have a few old chairs for visitors and some stacks of forms that always seem to need filling out. We don’t really go for the polished look; it’s more about just having a place to work and meet people. Sometimes we get busy with the phone ringing and people walking in all at once, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the fan whirring overhead. We’ve been operating from this building for quite a while now and we know the other shopkeepers around here. We usually grab tea from the stall nearby in the afternoons. It’s just how we run things, keeping it practical and focused on the travel details. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just do the work that needs doing to get people where they need to go.
