Hegde Clinic

Hegde Clinic is located right in the Hegde Building on the Main Road in Salmara. We’re pretty easy to spot because the Axis Bank ATM is right nearby, which helps people who are visiting us for the first time. Karkala is a small enough town that most people find their way here eventually. We have been here for years, serving the folks around Udupi. It’s a family-run kind of feel. The building is an older one, but it holds a lot of history for us. Inside, it’s just a standard clinic setup. We have a few rooms for consultations and a small waiting area that fills up fast on Monday mornings. Sometimes the rain in this part of Karnataka makes things a bit messy outside, but we try to keep the floors dry. We don’t really do anything fancy here. People come in, tell us what’s wrong, and we see what can be done. It’s honest work. The staff here are all locals, so we speak the language and know the families. If you’re coming from further away, just look for the bank sign on Main Road. We’re usually here from morning until the evening. It’s not a big hospital, just a local clinic trying to do right by the people living in Salmara. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a regular part of the street.
