Grnenv Foundation is over in Mangalore, specifically at 506 Hill Streak Apartment on Gorigudda Road. It is not your typical office building; it is an apartment space where we have set things up. Nimish Shah is the main person here, and the rest of us just chip in where we can. We focus on environmental stuff, though the name is a bit of a mouthful to say. Being in Mangalore, we are close to the coast, which influences a lot of what we think about. It is pretty quiet in this part of Gorigudda, which is nice for getting work done without too many distractions. We do not have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you are writing a report, and the next you are out talking to people in the neighborhood or checking on some project. We keep things simple. There is no fancy furniture or high-tech equipment, just what we need to stay organized. It can get quite humid here, so the fans are always running. We mostly just want to do our part for the local area without making a big fuss about it. It is slow work sometimes, and it takes a lot of patience to see any real changes. We just keep showing up and doing the small things that eventually add up. Most of our meetings happen over a simple cup of tea in the kitchen area.
