G.R. Stone Specialities Pvt. Ltd. is located at plot 298/299 in the Kiadb Industrial Area in Baikampady. It’s a heavy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of activity and machines running nearby. We deal with stones all day, so our yard is usually filled with slabs and pieces waiting to be moved. The air here usually has a bit of dust in it, which is pretty common for this part of Mangalore. Our team is small and we’ve worked together for a long time now. We don't have a big reception area or shiny floors because this is a place for hard work, not for showing off. We mostly spend our time checking the quality of the stones and making sure the loading goes smoothly. Being in the Kiadb area is good because the roads are wide enough for the heavy trucks we deal with. Every morning starts with a quick check of what needs to be shipped out and what new material has arrived. It can get quite hot in the afternoon sun, but we just keep at it until the job is finished. We’ve built a decent reputation among the local builders just by doing what we say we will do. People know they can find us here at the back of the industrial estate if they need help with stone work. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and our customers.
