Our office is in Empire Mall, right on the first floor. If you know MG Road in Mangalore, you know it’s always a bit of a scramble with the traffic and people everywhere. Being in the Dakshina Kannada area, specifically here in Karnataka 575001, we’re right in the thick of it. Edusphere Overseas (Opc) Private Limited isn’t tucked away in some quiet corner; we’re right there in the mall where everything happens. You take the stairs or the lift to the first floor and we’re one of the spots you’ll see. It’s a bit different working in a mall compared to a standalone building. There’s always music playing somewhere in the background and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. We get in early before the shops really start opening up, which is the only quiet time we get. The office itself is just a practical space. We’ve got our desks set up and we spend the day dealing with paperwork and phone calls. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons when the mall fills up. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just some calendars and the stuff we need to work. It’s a convenient location for us because everything is right there. Sometimes we grab lunch at one of the mall places. It’s just a normal day of work for the team here in Mangalore. We don't worry about being too polished; we just get through the pile of work on our desks.
