If you’re looking for us, we’re located at Chaitra House in the Gandhi Nagar area of Moodbidri. It’s a well-known part of town. C.A. Raghupathi S Bhat runs the place with a small team. Moodbidri is a nice place to work, away from the heavy traffic of central Mangalore. Our office is fairly straightforward. We have desks, computers, and a lot of cabinets for all the files we have to keep. Most of our work involves helping people with their tax returns and making sure their business accounts are in order. We see a lot of small business owners and farmers from around the 574227 area. They bring in their documents and we try to sort through them as best we can. It’s not always easy, especially when the tax laws change every year, but we stay on top of it. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a friendly atmosphere here. We might talk about the local rain or the crops for a bit before getting into the numbers. It feels more like a community service sometimes. We aren't a big corporate firm with fancy lobbies. It’s just a house where we do accounting. We keep our hours regular and try to get through the pile of work before the big deadlines hit in July and September. It’s a lot of work but it's okay.
