Bedra Super Market

Bedra Super Market is situated at 36/24-8 on the Main Road in Moodbidri. Being on the Main Road means we get a lot of foot traffic from people walking to other shops or waiting for the bus. The shop is a decent size. We have racks filled with groceries, spices, and some cold drinks in the fridge at the back. Moodbidri gets quite humid, so that fridge is a popular spot during the afternoons. We started this place because we saw that this part of the road needed a reliable grocery store. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned mall, just a straightforward market. We spend a lot of time checking the expiry dates and making sure the vegetables are fresh. Sometimes the crates get piled up high near the entrance when we are busy, but we try to move them quickly. The floor is tiled but shows the wear and tear of many boots and sandals coming through. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shelves stocked so the locals can get what they need for their kitchens. Dealing with the heat and the crowds is just part of the daily routine here. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things get quiet for a minute. It’s a simple life running a shop on the Main Road, and we are quite content with how things are going.
