We operate out of Shop No. 11 in Akash Towers. That’s in the Chilimbi area, near the Urva Stores part of town. If you’re looking for us, we’re quite close to the Skoda showroom, which is a big help for people trying to find the building. Akash Towers is a decent place to work. Our shop is just one of many in the complex. It’s a small space, mostly taken up by our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We handle travel bookings and car rentals mostly. Urwa is a bit quieter than the very center of Mangalore, but it still has plenty of activity. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. The routine is pretty much the same every day—checking emails, answering the phone, and writing down bookings in our ledger. We don’t have any flashy signs or big marketing plans. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it’s not too hot just to watch the cars go by on the main road. The office is practical, nothing more than that. We’ve been here in Chilimbi for some time now and we’re quite comfortable with the pace of things in this neighborhood. Most days are steady, and we just keep the work going as it comes.
