Alpha Driving School

Alpha Driving School is up on the second floor of the Church Building in the Ozanam Complex. We are located in Bajpe, Mangalore, with the zip code 574142. It’s a pretty simple office. You have to walk up the stairs, and once you’re inside, you’ll see some posters about road signs and a few old desks. We spend a lot of our time out on the roads of Bajpe, but this is where we do the paperwork and keep the car keys. The Church Building is a well-known landmark, so people usually don’t have much trouble finding us in the Ozanam Complex. Mangalore can get very humid, so the fan in the office is always running at full speed. We don’t have any fancy simulators or expensive gadgets. Our approach is to just get people behind the wheel so they can learn how to handle the clutch and the gears by actually doing it. The office is often a bit cluttered with forms and logbooks. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely silent. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in the city. We just want to make sure the people who come to us in Bajpe can drive safely before they get their license. It’s a regular job for us, and we’ve been doing it from this same second-floor spot for a long time now.
