Jeevanshikha Microservices Foundation

We are located in Uttar Dinajpur, specifically in Kaliyanganj. The Jeevanshikha Microservices Foundation operates out of a space care of Bijoy Brata Sardar in North Klchirail. It’s a long way from the big city, and things move at a much slower pace here. Our office is basically part of a residence, so it’s very informal. You’ll often hear chickens outside or the sound of someone’s motorbike starting up nearby. We deal with microservices, which sounds technical, but a lot of it is just talking to people in the village and helping them figure out their paperwork. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just knock on the door and someone will come out to help you. The power goes out quite often, so we’ve learned to work around that. We use a lot of battery-powered lights and manual ledgers when we have to. It’s a simple life here in Uttar Dinajpur. Most of us have lived in this area our whole lives, so we know everyone’s name. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to help out the folks in Kaliyanganj as best as we can. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the roads get muddy in the rainy season, but we stay at it because it’s our home.
