Automotive India

Out here in Khalari Village, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We are part of the Burmu Block, and our place, Automotive India, is not too far from the Dakra Post Office. If you are looking for us, just head towards the Kali Mandir; we are right near there. It is a good spot because everyone knows the temple. We handle a lot of vehicle stuff, mostly for the people living nearby or the trucks passing through the village. The air is a lot cleaner out here, though it gets dusty when the wind picks up across the fields. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know our way around an engine. The shop is a simple brick building, and we usually have a few vehicles parked out front in various states of repair. We like being part of the village life. We hear all the local news and know most of the families around Burmu. When someone has trouble with their car or tractor, they usually bring it over and we take a look. We do not have fancy diagnostic computers; we just use our hands and what we have learned over the years. It is a quiet life, mostly, except for when we are testing out a motor. We are just here to keep the local wheels turning, one day at a time, near the temple. No big plans, just fixing what needs fixing.
