Raja Bricks

You can find Raja Bricks in Jesawada village, right in the Garbada tehsil. We are situated near the Old Indore Highway Road, so the trucks can get in and out without much trouble at all. We've been making bricks here for quite a few years now. It’s a family-run thing mostly, started by my uncle. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the usual kilns and a lot of hand work with the mud. The sun does most of the drying for us in the open fields. It’s a tough way to make a living, especially when the heat gets really bad in the summer or when the rains start early and soak everything. We aren't some big company with a board of directors or a fancy office. It’s just us on the ground every day. People from all over the tehsil come to us when they are building something new like a house or a shop. We like being near the old highway because it keeps us connected to the bigger towns nearby. The dust is a constant companion here, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big office, just a small shed where we sit and talk to customers about their orders. It’s an honest job and it keeps our family going. We just focus on getting the next batch of bricks ready for the market. It's hard work but good.
