Primary Health Center

Our center is situated at 14 B Shri Ram Colony on Godhra Road. This is over in the Dahod district. It’s a primary health center, so we see a lot of people from the local area every day. Most of them come in for basic things like fever or minor injuries. We have a small staff here, mostly just a couple of doctors and nurses who handle the daily flow of patients. The building is part of the colony, so it feels very much like a local neighborhood spot. It’s not a big hospital with all the latest machines, but we have what we need for basic care. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the mornings and the waiting room isn't big enough, so people end up standing outside. We try to see everyone as quickly as we can. Godhra Road is a busy street, and we get people coming in from the nearby villages too. It’s a lot of work and some days are quite tiring. We deal with a lot of vaccinations and regular check-ups for the kids in the area. The building is a bit old and needs a coat of paint, but it serves its purpose. We don't have much of a budget for fancy things, so we just focus on the patients. It’s a simple place with a lot of regular faces. We just try to help out where we can. That is pretty much our daily life here.
