We are located at Plot No. 3 and 4 in the Mega GIDC area of Kharedi. If you’re looking for us, we are right near the 66 Kv Getco Substation. Ashok Steel Craft Pvt. Ltd. is basically a big workshop where we deal with a lot of metal and heavy machinery. It gets quite loud during the day with all the cutting and welding going on. There’s always the smell of hot metal and grease in the air, which you get used to after the first week. We have a crew that’s been with us for years, and they know the equipment inside and out. It’s not a clean office job; we all go home with dirt under our fingernails and tired backs. Working in a GIDC means we are surrounded by other industrial units, so there’s always trucks and deliveries happening. We try to keep our yard organized, but with the amount of steel coming in and out, it’s a constant chore. The substation nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don't have a fancy reception area, just a small office where we handle the paperwork and take a break now and then. It’s straightforward industrial work. We focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the pieces are cut right. It’s what we know how to do and what we've done for a long time.
