Gurukrupa Masala Udhyog

If you head down Shapa Road near the Station Road in Godhra, you will find us pretty easily. Gurukrupa Masala Udhyog is located right near the F C I Godown, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to give directions. The smell of the spices is usually the first thing people notice before they even see the building. We spend most of our mornings grinding things down and the air gets thick with all those different scents. It makes you sneeze sometimes, but that’s part of the job. Being near the station means there are always people moving about, and the sound of the trains isn't too far off. We keep the machines running for most of the day, so there is a constant hum in the background. It is a practical sort of place with bags stacked up in the corners and dust on the windowsills. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look pretty for visitors. The work is what matters, getting the masala sorted and ready for whoever needs it. Godhra is a busy town, and we are just one small part of it on this particular road. When the rains come, the street outside gets a bit muddy, but we just keep the doors shut and carry on with the grinding. It's just a regular business run by regular people who know their way around a spice bag. We usually wrap things up when the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
