Dahod Public School

We are situated in Garbada, within the Dahod area. It’s a simple school for the children who live around here. We have a few buildings and some space for the kids to run around. Every morning starts with everyone gathering together. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just teach. The teachers here are local folks who care about the neighborhood. We spend our time going over lessons and checking homework. Sometimes the goats from the nearby fields wander too close, and we have to shoo them away. It’s just life in Dahod. We try to keep the classrooms clean and the students busy. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don't use a lot of technology, mostly just books and pens. We know the families and they know us. If a student is missing, we usually know why. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the world. We just want to give the kids a place to learn their basics. It’s hard work sometimes, but we keep at it every day. The sun gets hot in the afternoon, but we just keep the fans going and finish the lessons. That’s how we do things. We just want to make sure the kids have what they need to move forward.
