Balaji Kota Stone & Marbles

Balaji Kota Stone & Marbles is sitting right near the Kharod River here on Garbada Dhangadhi Road. It’s a busy spot in Taluka Garbada and the road is always dusty. I started this place because people around here needed stone for their floors and courtyards. Most days I am out in the yard looking at the Kota stone arrivals. The dust gets everywhere but that is just how it goes with this work. We have different sizes and thicknesses depending on what is coming in from the quarries. It is not fancy here, just a lot of stone and some basic tools. Sometimes the river gets high and we have to watch out for the water levels. Customers come by mostly from the nearby villages and towns. They want something that lasts a long time without costing too much money. We show them what we have and they pick what looks right for their porch or kitchen. I handle the loading myself often. It keeps me busy from morning until the sun goes down. The road outside stays pretty loud with trucks going back and forth all day. We just keep doing our thing, selling marbles and stones to whoever stops by. It is honest work and we have been at this location for a while now. If you pass the river, you will see our sign. There is always someone here to help move the heavy slabs around.
