Al - Mansoor Traders

Al - Mansoor Traders is located right near the GIDC area, not far from the Drashti Netralaya Eye Hospital. Being close to the industrial zone means we see a lot of activity every day. It’s a practical location for the kind of trading we do. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It’s mostly just a warehouse and a small front area where we meet people. We deal with various goods that the local industries and workers need. My brother and I started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s been a lot of hard work, especially during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. We have a lot of regular customers who come from the nearby factories. They know we are usually here from early morning. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our business comes from people telling their friends about us. We try to be fair and just get the job done. The hospital is a good landmark, so people usually find us without needing a map. Inside, it’s a bit noisy because of the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We keep our ledgers by hand mostly, and we know exactly what is sitting on every shelf. It’s a simple business, run by simple people who just want to do their work and go home to their families. We stay until the last truck is gone and then we head home ourselves.
