Duracon Cement Products Pvt. Ltd. is found at Plot No. S-1. We’re right near the Hotel Lords Eco Inn at the Dahej Chowkdi, which is a busy intersection in the GIDC. The location is convenient because the trucks can find us easily, but the dust from the road and our own cement work is constant. Everything here has a thin coating of grey on it, from the windows to the bushes outside. We’ve been operating from this plot for several years. It’s a heavy-duty kind of place. We spend a lot of time out in the yard, moving heavy products and making sure everything is drying correctly. It’s physical work and it can be quite exhausting during the summer months when the Dahej sun is beating down on the concrete. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we make, you just walk out into the yard and look at the stacks. Our team is a group of hard-working people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We usually have our meals together in a small shed we built on the side. It’s a basic life, but we take a certain pride in the things we build. We don't use big words or try to sound corporate. We just focus on the cement and the daily schedule at Plot S-1. It is a noisy, dusty, but honest place to work.
