L&T Construction

We are set up over by Sivanathan University, not far from the Bulandshahr Highway. It’s a busy area with all the construction going on lately. L&T Construction has a lot of projects, but this particular spot is where we handle the local stuff on the ground. You can hear the highway noise and the trucks most of the day. It’s a lot of boots, hard hats, and blueprints around here. We spend most of our time out on the site rather than sitting behind a desk in the trailer. The weather can be a real pain sometimes, either too hot or too rainy to get anything poured, but we manage to stay on track. We aren’t big on talking about ourselves; we’d rather just show the structures we’re building. It’s a lot of coordination between the different crews and the laborers. Someone is always calling about a material delivery or a delay with a machine. We eat lunch mostly on the go or sitting on some spare materials when we get a break. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. The university being right there means there are always students around, which makes for a lively atmosphere. We try to keep things organized, but on a construction site, there’s always a bit of chaos to deal with. We’ve been working on this stretch for a while now. It’s steady work and keeps us on our feet all day. We just focus on the plans.
