Avirat Packaging

Our factory units are E and S in the Yogiraj Industrial Estate. We are at number 215/1/6 on Nahar Road in Silvassa. It is a pretty standard industrial setup here. We deal with packaging, so we have big rolls of material and machines that cut and fold all day long. The building is quite large, but it fills up fast when we get a big shipment of raw materials in. Silvassa gets very hot and humid, so the warehouse can feel a bit like an oven in the summer months. We have big industrial fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure the packing tape or the boxes are coming out right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done carefully. We have a small office area near the entrance where we keep the paperwork, but most of us are usually out on the floor. There are a few other businesses in the estate, so there is always someone moving a forklift or a truck around in the common yard. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone shows up, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It is a busy, noisy place, but we like the pace of it. We just keep making the boxes and shipping them out to whoever needs them.
