Savia Motors

Savia Motors is located at 74, Prasad Lane in the Siddhi Vinayak building over in Dadar East. If you’ve ever tried to navigate the lanes of Dadar, you know how tight and busy things can get. Our garage is tucked away there, and it’s usually full of cars in various stages of repair. It’s a real neighborhood shop. There’s no fancy air-conditioned waiting room with magazines; usually, customers just stand around and chat with us while we work. The floor is covered in oil stains that have been there for years, and the walls are filled with every kind of wrench and tool you can imagine. We don’t have a website or a big advertising budget. People come to us because they’ve been coming here for years or because a friend told them we’d treat them fairly. It’s often loud with the sound of pneumatic tools and engines being tested, and sometimes the exhaust fumes can get a bit thick if the wind isn't blowing right. We have a small team of mechanics who have been with us for a long time. We don't always get it right on the first try, but we’ll keep at it until the car is running the way it should. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy place, but it’s where we feel most at home. We just focus on fixing the vehicles and keeping our neighbors on the road without making a big fuss about it.
