Our unit is tucked away in the Parth Industrial Estate, specifically at Unit No. C-1-2. Being located at Survey No. 203/2/2 right on the Vapi-Silvassa Main Road means there is a constant sound of heavy trucks passing by at all hours. It is a dusty area, but that is just part of being in an industrial zone. We spend most of our time working with thermoplastics. The factory floor gets quite warm when the machines are running full tilt, so we keep the big side doors open whenever we can. It’s a straightforward operation where we focus on production schedules and making sure the plastic batches meet the requirements. There isn't a lot of time for fancy talk or corporate meetings. Usually, we are just checking the temperatures on the equipment or making sure the raw material supply is coming in on time. We have a small crew and most of us have been here for years, so we know the machines pretty well. Sometimes a belt snaps or a motor acts up, and we spend the afternoon getting our hands dirty to fix it. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People in the estate know where we are if they need work done. Lunch is a quick break with some tea before we get back to the floor. It is just steady, honest work that keeps the place running day after day.
