Slash Monk

Slash Monk is located in The Belvedere building on Raj Bhavan Road in Somajiguda. It is a very central part of Hyderabad, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our windows. The traffic on Raj Bhavan Road is famous for being a mess, especially during the evening rush when everyone is heading home. Being in Somajiguda means we have everything we need nearby, from small food joints to bigger shops, but it also means it is never quiet. The office itself is a decent size. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us, and there are always stacks of papers and coffee mugs lying around. It feels like a normal workplace where people are actually doing things. The building is older, so the elevators can be a bit slow and the hallways have that specific old-building smell. We spend most of our day here, staring at screens or talking through things in the small meeting area. There isn't any fancy art or expensive furniture, just the stuff we need to get through the day. Sometimes we look out at the cars stuck in traffic and feel glad we are inside. It is a practical space in a busy part of town, and it works well enough for what we do every day. We usually end up staying late because it is easier than trying to fight the traffic right at five in the evening.
