Prasanna Industries

We are located at D/49 in Phase I, specifically on Road No 8 in the IDA area of Hyderabad. Prasanna Industries is a fairly simple operation. We have been in this spot for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the industrial area change a lot over the years. Our workshop is filled with tools and parts, and there is usually a layer of dust on everything no matter how much we sweep. It’s the kind of place where we keep the doors open to catch a breeze, though mostly it just lets in the sound of the traffic and the neighboring factories. We don’t spend much time in an office; most of the work happens right there on the floor. My brother and a couple of other workers handle the daily tasks. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a PR person to tell our story. We just show up in the morning, check what needs to be fixed or made, and get to it. Sometimes we run into problems with the machines, and we have to spend half the day tinkering with them to get things moving again. It’s a bit frustrating, but that’s just part of the job. We share a meal in the middle of the day and talk about our families. It’s a basic life, but we take pride in doing the work ourselves and staying busy in this part of town. We just keep going until the light fades.
