Under Reliance Industries Limited

Our operations are based out of Cuttack in Orissa. We work under Reliance Industries Limited which means we are part of a very large network but our daily life is very local. The streets of Cuttack are narrow and can get extremely congested especially during the festival seasons. We have to manage a lot of logistics and distribution from our spot here. The heat in this part of India is no joke and it affects how we plan our outdoor work. We don't have a big fancy corporate building. Our office is more of a functional hub where drivers and supervisors come to talk. There is always a lot of chatter about delivery routes and warehouse space. We are right in the 753004 area and have been here long enough to know all the shortcuts around town. The paperwork can be a bit overwhelming sometimes because everything has to be logged properly. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done without making a big fuss about it. There are no polished slogans on our walls just calendars and duty rosters. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment sometimes but we have a system that works for us. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the midday sun when we can. It is just a regular job for a group of hard-working people.
