It can be a bit of a squeeze getting down the lane sometimes, but that’s just the way it is here. Our office is right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve been here for years, working as an accounting firm. It’s not a quiet, glass-walled office like you see in movies. It’s a real place with real noise from the street coming through the windows. We deal with all sorts of clients, mostly local folks who need help with their taxes and business records. The office is usually filled with the sound of calculators and people talking. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and we're there working. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get everything finished before we head home in the evening. It's a lot of repetitive work, but we don't mind it. It’s what we’ve always done. Balu Bazar is a historic part of town, and we feel like we’re part of the furniture here. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the books are balanced and the filings are done on time for everyone who comes in.
