We are based in Cuttack, right in the Kesharpur Buxibazar area. If you know the 753001 zip code, you know it is a busy part of town. The Prajatantra Prachar Samity has been around for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but that is because there is a lot of history in these walls. We are not trying to be the newest or most modern place on the block. We just care about getting the work out there. It is often loud outside with the street noise, but we are used to it. The staff here mostly grew up in Odisha, so we understand how things work locally. We do not use any big words to describe ourselves. We just show up, do the printing or the organizing, and go home to our families. Some of the desks have been here as long as the senior staff. It is a bit cluttered sometimes with papers and old files, but we know where everything is. You won't find any polished marble floors here. It is just concrete and hard work. People stop by to talk about the news or just to say hello. It feels more like a community hub than a cold business office. We just keep the presses running and try to stay on top of the schedule. Everyone here knows their role and does it without needing much supervision.
