The Engineers

The Engineers is located over at Plot No.5-D/870 in Cda Sector-9. We are very close to Ganesh Palace, which is how most people find their way to us. The sector is usually quite busy, and there is a lot of construction and activity going on nearby. Our workspace is filled with all kinds of tools, drawings, and pieces of metal. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but everything has its spot, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We spend a lot of time hunched over desks or standing around a project trying to figure out a problem. There is usually a pot of tea going in the back room because it helps us get through the long afternoons. The walls are mostly bare, except for some old calendars and maybe a few notes scribbled directly on the paint. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us working on something. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble, and the street gets real quiet once the Palace lights go down. We are just a group of people who like to build and fix things. It’s practical work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. It's just us here doing the engineering tasks that come our way, day in and day out, without any fuss.
