Technical Consultant Under Opepa,Orissa.

This is Satya Ranjan Swain’s place, located at Barahipur in the Cuttack district. We are out in the Osanga area, which is a bit of a drive from the main city. Our work involves being a technical consultant under the OPEPA program for Odisha. It’s not a big corporate office; it’s more of a local setup where we handle the paperwork and coordination for various school projects. Cuttack is a large district and we have to go to many different villages and towns to see how the work is progressing. Usually, there’s a lot of writing and checking reports to make sure everything follows the government rules. It’s a quiet life in the village of Barahipur. We know the people around here and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. The work can be a bit slow sometimes because of the bureaucracy, but we just keep at it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. People find us through the work we do on the ground. We spend a lot of time traveling on dusty roads to visit the project sites. It’s mostly about making sure things are being built correctly for the schools. It’s important work but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just follow the guidelines and do what’s required of us every day.
